Very old Elm has been used to make this Picture Frame, dating back around 300 yrs, this Pit Sawn Elm was Reclaimed from an old cottage in Sussex where it was used as exterior wall cladding on the front of the building.

Loads of Character in this ancient old wood, it has an almost black patina with signs of bare wood in places.

Size, aperture, 13.4 cm x 17 cm. External size, 26 cm x 23 cm.
