This is "Habib" the Highland Cow. Habib is one of my original framed wildlife on wood portraits. Habib has been painted on a beautiful piece of Scottish Elm and framed in English oak by my good friend, Heidi of the Rustic Picture Frame Company. The wood has some beautiful markings on it and I have painted Habib so as to display and celebrate the beauty of the wood itself.
